A Great Natural Remedy

More and more I notice that people these days are looking for natural solutions to the ailments that affect them. It’s certainly preferable to take a natural medicine to a pill full of ingredients that we can’t even pronounce. One natural remedy that I would suggest for anyone who suffers from yeast infections, digestion issues, thrust, candida or yeast imbalances is a product called threelac. Threelac is a natural pro biotic that has helped many people to cure their yeast infections and other issues by improving their immune system and balancing their yeast levels. It can also help the body to better absorb vitamins, which gives a boost to your overall health. Personally, I much prefer natural remedies like threelac over other treatments and I would suggest others to give natural remedies some thought as well.

Apple Announces Next Gen iPhone!!!

Ahah! The big news that folks have been expecting out of Apple has finally been delivered at the WWDC conference currently happening in San Fran. And what is that news? A next generation iPhone, of course. That’s right Apple stepped up to the plate and unveiled a refreshed iPhone today, dubbed the iPhone 3GS (apparently the S stands for speed.)

The trendy new device will comes chalk full of new and exciting features, but non are more important than the fact that it offers a 100 percent increase in the speed of launching an app. Also, iPhone users can expect to enjoy a new still camera, and video camera, voice control, a compass, and additional battery life over the previous model. Oh, and it’s being released soon. Really really soon, in fact. The release date for the new iPhone 3GS is slated to be this coming June nineteenth!

Google Does The Wave

Okay, I think the post title is funny but if you haven’t heard of the new “Google Wave” service you may not get it. So what’s the skinny? Well Google has now unveiled yet another innovative service called Google Wave. And what does it do? It basically integrates all of Googles main products into to one easy to use tool (the Wave.)

Now, currently it has only been released to developers but once it hits the public we can expect to see email, blogging, IM, and document sharing capabilities all in one tool. Google has been working on the Wave for approximately two years now, and so as you can imagine they have high hopes for the new service. Personally, I can’t wait to get my hands on it!

Microsoft To Launch New Zune

It feels funny to write about the Microsoft Zune, as usually a post about a music player is going to be concerning an Apple product (be it iPod Nano, iPod Touch or even the iPhone), however there is news this week from the Zune realm. Microsoft is set to unveil the sequel to their Zune mp3 player, the Zune HD. While pricing for the model hasn’t yet been released there are some specs hitting the news wire. The Zune HD is expected to include such features as an HD Radio tuner, a touchscreen interface, an integrated IE web browser, and Wi-Fi connectivity.

What else is neat is that the new Zune will be compatible with the Xbox Live Marketplace which will allow Zune HD users to rent films and television programs through their Zune, and of course watch such on their Zune HD.

Online Classifieds Continue To Grow In Popularity

According to a report published by the Pew Internet & American Life Project, the amount of people who utilise internet classified websites like Craigslist has grown over two hundred percent since 2005, a movement that shows just how much the internet has woven into our daily lives in a way that makes us less reliant on traditional print newspapers.

The study found that over forty nine percent of web surfers have utilised an internet classified web site, which is a twenty two percent increase since just 2005. Of those twenty two percent, approximately nine percent were found to visit such a website daily, which is an increase of four percent since 2005. Also of note is that those between the ages of twenty five to forty four were found to be the most likely individuals to use online classified websites.

Some things, like a qualified dentist for TMJ problems are still better found through a simple web search rather than online classifieds. So do your homework before choosing a business from a classifieds site.

Best Buy Prepares To Launch The Pre

I have to admit that even though I am a major Blackberry fan and a loyal Research In Motion customer for years, I am curious and even excited about the upcoming launch of the Palm Pre smartphone. I think that Palm made a smart move in taking “sooo” long to release their new handset that a huge amount of hype over the device has had time to accumulate. Also, now Best Buy is taking the time to create their own hype for the Pre by offering a strong mail in rebate incentive for those who buy the Pre through one of their stores (or online at the Best Buy ecommerce website).

Of course the mail in rebate is generally a safe bet for companies as few customers actually take the time to send in the rebate by the expiration date. However Best Buy is offering their rebate on the spot, before the customer even leaves the store. That should be a great incentive for buyers to purchase through them.

The Pre is set to hit store selves on the sixth of June.

Sony Posts Big Loss!

Bad news for Sony stock holders as the company has recently released its annual numbers, and unfortunately they are posted a loss of just over one billion US dollars! That’s a big chunk of change and is, no surprisingly, the first loss that the giant electronics company has posted since the mid nineteen nineties (1995 to be exact). Also unfortunate, is that the company has warned that it is not expected to see growth in the upcoming quarters as its sales continue to decline in the face of this global economic recession. Also the decline of the US dollar against the Japanese Yen has been noted as another reason for the loss.

One of the worst performing areas of Sony’s business this year was its PlayStation division which lost almost eleven billion dollars in the last year. However, Sony has managed to cut down on the cost of manufacturing its PlayStation three console, and with software sales for the unit growing rapidly I would be surprise to see it operate it at a loss for too much longer.

Facebook Comes To Windows Mobile Via App

Microsoft has finally released an application that brings Facebook to its Windows Mobile ran wireless phones. The application which is simply called “Facebook” is a free download from the Windows Mobile homepage and provides users with both video and image uploading capabilities as well as the ability to send short messages to their Facebook friends. Also, users are able to take advantage of a function that allows them to quickly call their Facebook friends, as well as use standard Facebook features such as add friends, make changes to their status and everything else you would normally expect in a Facebook mobile application.

Users should note that he current version of the mobile Facebook app is only available for devices running Windows Mobile 6.0. Those who carry a device which runs the 6.5 version can expect their very own Facebook application before 2010. Also, expect to see a Windows Mobile MySpace app sometime soon.

Apple Releases Strong Q2 Numbers

Apple has released impressive Q2 profit numbers which have obviously been driven by a great number of iPhones and iPods sales. Apple’s numbers managed beat Wall Street’s expectations despite the current world wide economic uncertainty.

The tech giant mentioned Wednesday that a continued and growing demand for its portable devices kept sales numbers from falling substantially during the generally slow period after the Xmas shopping season. The company’s quarterly income rose to $8.16 bln, an impressive climb from the $7.51 bln it earned in Q2 of last year.

Apple sold only 2.22 million Macs in Q2, however managed to sell a whopping number of iPhones at 3.79 million. That’s up from 1.7 million a year ago, which is no doubt in large part due to the iPhone’s growing popularity globally.
