Summer Means Travel Time
It seems like all across the country folks are experiencing very high temperatures as we head into the hottest part of the year (July or August, depending on where you live). To me, this is the perfect excuse to book some time off of work and head to nice destination with a lake, river or pool to spend the days in. I know that a lot of folks are trying to save money this year, but thankfully many hotels are offering great deals this year as they try to lure travellers in during less than ideal economic times.
One of the cooler hotel promotions that I’ve come across is the econolodge road trip music sweepstakes, as they want to give users a chance to win a visit to the rock and roll hall of fame! Actually, the winner will get their choice, and if they prefer country music to rock and roll then they can choose to go to the country music hall of fame instead. Personally, I love rock n roll so that’s what I’d go with! It’s very easy to enter, all you have to do is vote for your favorite travelin’ tune and enter some basic information. It’s pretty neat that hotels are offering these hotel road trip summer promotions as it’s something to get excited about on these hot days.
